Guest rooms at Hill House are named after buildings and architecture in the area. Asheville is rich in architecture from the art deco S&W building to the majestic Biltmore House. As with the variety of architecture in the area, Hill House offers a variety of room choices, each individually decorated, with hints of the past and the modern conveniences of today.

All accommodations at Hill House have private baths and queen beds.

• All guest rooms, interior public spaces and front/rear porch of the Inn at Hill House are NON-SMOKING. Smoking is permitted on the side yard and the proch of the Cottage. Receptacles are provided for cigarette ashes & butts. In winter, smoking is permitted on the front porch.

• Reservations may be made online, or by calling 800-379-0002 or 828-232-0345 and are confirmed at booking. Reservations are guaranteed with a valid credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover). Verification will be emailed within 24 hours for guest review, signature and return to Hill House by fax or mail.
• For 1, 2, or 3-night stays, a deposit of 1 night's stay is required. For stays of four or more days, or for parties booking more than one room, a 50% deposit of the entire stay is required. Deposits made with credit cards are due at time of booking a reservation. Deposits made with personal checks are due within five days of booking. All deposits are subject to standard cancellation policies.
• Balances are due upon check-in. Payments can be made using cash, personal check, traveler's check, or credit card.

• Standard cancellation is at least 14 days in advance of arrival & is subject to a $35 processing fee. Cancellations 7 to 14 days prior to your reservation will result in forfeiture of your deposit. If you cancel within 7 days prior to your reservation, you will be charged for all nights reserved, plus applicable taxes. A 30-day cancellation is required for Holidays & Leaf Season. Late arrivals and early departures fall within our cancellation policy.
• Reservation date changes 7-14 days before arrival date will be assessed a $35 processing fee and are subject to availability. Changes made within 7 days of a reservation are considered cancellations.

• Rates are based on two-person occupancy. There is a charge of $25 per person per day for additions to standard occupancy. Arrangements must be made in advance of arrival. Taxes are applied as required by law.
• We can accommodate children 12 and older in the Inn and younger children in our Cottage. Please call to make arrangements.

• For the safely of all guests, no candles are to be lit in rooms. A minimum $100 cleaning fee will be assessed if candles or wax residue are found in the room upon departure.
• Red wine stains can be extremely difficult to remove. Caution is advised if enjoying red wine in your room, since any damage to carpet or linens will be the responsibility of the guest.

• Check-in is from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. Please call us in advance to arrange for entry to the inn if you will arrive after check-in hours.
• Check-out is at 11:00 am on the morning of departure.
• Incoming telephone calls for guests are for emergency only. If you need to be reachable, please bring your cell phone with you.
• A fax is available for $1.00 / page. Make arrangements with the Innkeeper for its use.
